The Magical Science & Engineering Show

Is this experience available at your school?

Check here, it just takes a second. If it's not available we'll direct you to experiences that are!

This creative and magical scientific journey explores the invisible forces that constantly affect us: gravitational, static electric, magnetic, and electromagnetic.

Physics, often seen as modern magic, underpins these phenomena, and scientists and engineers are akin to wizards. Harnessing the unseen powers of gravity, magnetism, and electricity, Scientific Sue and her apprentice wizards (yes lots of volunteers are required!) will recreate the magical essence of Harry Potter's Wingardium Leviosa Spell.

This immersive experience not only sparks curiosity and imagination in young audiences but also underscores the significance of science and engineering in shaping our everyday world. Scientific Sue’s wacky combination of science, engineering, drama and storytelling makes this educational programme at times funny, magical but always thought provoking.
