Sustainable Engineering with Dave Knapton from the University of Sunderland

If your students are into innovation, problem-solving, or just want to make a difference in the world, this Subject Spotlight is for them!

Sustainable Engineering with Dave Knapton from the University of Sunderland

What is a Subject Spotlight?

Subject Spotlights from Springpod fuse education and entertainment to bring students a new way of researching their university options.

About this Spotlight

In this Subject Spotlight, Dave Knapton, Associate Head of School at the University of Sunderland, explores how sustainability is changing the game - shaping everything from product design to manufacturing and even the way companies compete.

Through a series of video episodes, Dave will introduce students to the evolution of sustainability in manufacturing before looking at how products move from idea to reality and how engineers design with sustainability in mind.

Throughout the spotlight, students will have the chance to take part in interactive quizzes and understand more about studying sustainable engineering at university.
