Pneumatic and Hydraulic Engineering

This practical engineering workshop demonstrates how pneumatic and hydraulic systems are used including making a hoist a hydraulic game!

Pneumatic and Hydraulic Engineering

In this workshop, students will build at least one pneumatic machine and one hydraulic game.

Students will extend existing knowledge about forces and develop an understanding of how engineers apply the principles in simple and complex machines.

Through led builds and a creative free build students learn by doing all day. They also get to showcase their work and play each other's games!

These engineering workshops are versatile, engaging and all link the National Curriculum and fulfill OFSTED criteria.

A full day’s workshop with a class (approx. 30 pupils) from £550. This can be split into 2 half-day sessions for 2 classes if the workshop is suitable.

The provider may charge for material costs, travel and accommodation depending on where you are located.
