An immersive, three-day residential summer course at Loughborough University that gives girls the chance to think big in engineering!
Over three exciting days, students will dive into hands-on STEM activities, creative design challenges, and collaborative problem-solving.
Designed for girls in Years 8 and 9, this is a fantastic chance to explore what engineering is really like while connecting with other students who share similar interests.
During the course, participants will:
- Take part in hands-on engineering projects and creative challenges
- Develop practical STEM and problem-solving skills
- Learn from engineers and inspiring role models from industry
- Work together with peers to tackle real-world engineering challenges
- Experience university campus living, with fun social activities in the evenings
Students are supported throughout by the organiser's friendly STEM Engagement Specialists and industry volunteers, who bring engineering to life by sharing their experiences and career journeys.
It’s a welcoming and encouraging environment where students can ask questions, try new ideas, and discover what they’re capable of.
