Experience Day Challenger Workshops

The EDT Experience Day workshops are 1 day events for up to 90 students.

They deliver hands-on, exciting workshops including, but not limited to, programming robots, building rollercoasters and creating solar powered sustainable creations out of KNE’X.

All workshops have been created by educational professionals in partnership with industry experts to design engaging activities that develop vital skills such as: teamwork, communication skills, leadership, creativity and importantly career awareness.

Cost

The workshops cost £1945 but EDT offer fully-funded workshops for eligible schools.

Learning outcomes

  • Improve engagement, interest or enjoyment in STEM subjects

  • Develop engineering employability skills

  • Improve awareness and aspirations for STEM-related study and careers

  • Challenge stereotypes by showing the diversity of disciplines, people and skills involved in engineering
