Apprenticeships Unlocked

Are your students thinking about applying for an apprenticeship but don't know what to expect? This short virtual course can help!

Apprenticeships Unlocked

Delivered by Springpod, in partnership with the Department for Education, Apprenticeships Unlocked is a short, free, virtual course designed to help students see if an apprenticeship is the right pathway for them.

Why take this course?

  • The course can help students understand what an apprenticeship is, the different types available, and the benefits an apprenticeship can provide.
  • They'll gain insight into the daily life of an apprenticeship and hear from real life apprentices about their experiences.
  • They'll explore what STEM careers an apprenticeship can lead to, the steps they need to take, and get advice on how to apply.

Key details

Available on demand, Apprenticeships Unlocked is designed to take about 1 hour to complete.

Students will be able to download a certificate of completion afterwards.
