Neon - Bringing STEM to life through real-world engineering

Brilliant experiences, inspiring career resources and stories that showcase modern engineering

How can Neon help schools?

Neon is here. This incredible online platform has been designed to help teachers, careers co-ordinators and school leaders source a wealth of trusted experiences and resources in one place.

At its heart, Neon is about giving schools access to the UK's best engineering experiences. The engineering sector has responded to the challenges of 2020 by adapting existing programmes and creating inspiring digital experiences to enhance the existing engineering outreach opportunities. Neon provides valuable resources for all schools to benefit from immediately online as well as by offering real-world experiences to plan for this term or later in the year.

Our experiences are aligned to key careers information, help you hit Gatsby benchmarks, build up students’ skills and showcase real-world applications of engineering. More than that, they are provided by the UK’s leading STEM and engineering organisations.

Powered by the team behind Big Bang and Tomorrow’s Engineers, Neon also houses careers resources, such as videos, quizzes and case studies to use in class.

Celebrating the Neon launch

To celebrate our launch, we’re giving away a free poster to the first 500 teachers that create an account on Neon. Perfect for classroom or departmental display, it helps students see the incredible benefits of a career in engineering and also spreads the word about Neon to colleagues.
