Pursued By A Bear
Pursued By A Bear is a theatre and digital media charitable company in residence at Trestle Arts Base in St Albans.
The company was founded by actor Joseph Millson, actor and director Stuart Mullins and the scientist and writer Craig Baxter in 1998 to produce exciting new writing with a global focus. It has worked nationally, internationally and locally with audiences in Cambridgeshire, London, Surrey and now Hertfordshire.
Pursued By A Bear's current Artistic Director is Rosamunde Hutt, formerly Artistic Director of the UK's longest-established schools touring theatre company, Theatre Centre, and Co-Artistic Director of the foremost UK children's theatre, the Unicorn in London. Under Rosamunde's leadership the company's mission champions women's playwriting and female theatre artists.
