The British International Education Association (BIEA) is a not-for-profit organisation with its head office in London. BIEA works to meet the needs and challenges of international education from early years through to secondary STEM education. The BIEA runs international STEM competitions and challenges for students aged 6 to 21 with changing themes tackling climate changes, ranging from animal protection to plastic pollution.
Students apply curriculum learning in science, design, and technology in order to form solutions to the challenges posed. The challenge is based on timely environmental issues that cross country and continental boundaries. Through BIEA STEM events and programmes, students and teachers from around the world have opportunities to meet and share STEM experiences.
