Ashley Morris is an engineer and STEM Ambassador who has developed website to help students learn how to create simple engineering designs. Using the Product Designer tool, combined with the skills of systems engineering and modular design, students can learn that: it’s possible to create simple designs of any product or system; the creation of a simple design enables engineers to take control of complex problems that might otherwise appear overwhelming; and problem solving confidence can be developed in a way that aids critical thinking.
