Give your students the chance to shape our world this autumn in an exciting digital civil engineering competition!
A workshop designed to make students reflect on something they use everyday - there might be more design and chemical engineering to toothpaste than they think!
Just like an engineer does everyday, we will identify problems and build solutions, led by the children themselves.
Pupils work in teams to build their own prosthetic arm using a LEGO Spike kit, then use basic code to control their arm.
Engineer your future is an editable PowerPoint presentation which can be used by educators, careers professionals and STEM outreach practitioners to inform and inspire young people about the range of careers in engineering and technology and the routes into these careers.
A detailed route map showing possible routes into an engineering/technology career, through education and training.
This resource is available for each of the regions of the United Kingdom, and in Welsh and English language versions
4-page leaflet for young people exploring the importance of engineering and technology careers for the future.
A downloadable leaflet for young people in England explaining what T Levels are, who they are for, how to apply, and how they can support a rewarding and varied career in engineering and technology.
Laura's got the coolest job in the world - climbing wind turbines! Laura is an operations engineer at RWE, and is helping us reach net zero.
Emma works for RWE as a rotating equipment engineer. She loves working on cars and motorbikes, which drove her passion to become an engineer!
Lewis loves problem solving, and uses his skills working on decarbonisation projects to remove carbon from the exhaust gases of a power station and store it deep underground.
George makes sure solar and wind power projects run smoothly at RWE. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do, but his interests and skills meant he made a great engineer!
