Empower young people to become the engineers of climate solutions
The UK’s transition to net zero depends on the next generation of engineers and innovators.
Many young people – particularly from underrepresented backgrounds – face barriers to access STEM experiences that spark ambition and open doors. But you can help.
Funding the Neon bursary scheme removes those barriers. With your support, schools can inspire young people to explore careers in STEM and environmental sustainability – and you make a tangible contribution to the UK’s net zero future. We know that every £500 reaches 100 students.
In 2024/25 we could only fund 17% of Neon bursary applications. To reach more priority schools, we need more funds. And more organisations that inspire young people to see themselves working in environmental sustainability. You can build a stronger, more diverse, green talent pipeline.
Whole schools will benefit, and employers will strengthen their ESG commitments while investing in the future workforce.
