The Three Little Pigs

Is this experience available at your school?

Check here, it just takes a second. If it's not available we'll direct you to experiences that are!

This engaging workshop will teach EYFS students about the civil engineering decisions required when building a house/school, and why different materials are used for different jobs. Led by an experienced civil engineer, your class will be shown how to carry out a building survey, and taught why these surveys are important to ensure our buildings are safe.

We will consider how we keep ourselves safe when conducting a building survey, and why we wear PPE (personal protective equipment). Through hands-on activities, children will develop their construction skills by building model houses for the pigs as well as undertaking building surveys around their school.

Cost: £190 including delivery and materials.
