Workshop

Tech for Connectivity

A free virtual live lesson for students aged 11 to 14 years old on 11 December highlighting how technology is used to enable us to communicate online, and what careers are available.

Tech for Connectivity

Technology is prevalent across every aspect of our lives today and will continue to play an even more significant role in the careers and personal lives of future generations. A vast majority of your students will work in a job that doesn't exist yet.

Join this Tech We Can LIVE lesson on Wednesday 11 December at 2pm to help your students understand the history behind the internet and how technology is used to enable us to communicate online.

Led by Tech She Can Teacher, Katie, this will be a 45-minute interactive session where the students will be guided to complete paper based tasks and partner discussions - they therefore need to be based at a table with a piece of paper and pen/pencil.

Katie will also explore the many different ways we can connect to the internet and, throughout the lesson, she will highlight lots of related technology careers which students could pursue in the future.

The content is ideal in the classroom environment or from home.
