Workshop
Take STEM learning to new heights with this hands-on drone coding workshop.
Take STEM learning to new heights with this hands-on drone coding workshop. Students from Years 5 to 6 (P6–P7) will learn to code flight patterns using block programming, developing real-world computing skills while piloting drones through custom challenges.
Students will provide algorithms to their drone to make it take-off, land, do flips and rolls; as well as navigate different altitudes and distances to make its way safely around a course or perform a coordinated routine - all whilst exploring computing curriculum objectives, including sequencing, selection, repetition, and debugging.

"A huge thank you to Pete for delivering such fantastic drone workshops. All classes really enjoyed the sessions, the best part was seeing the smiling faces when the students were successful. I think the whole experience helped to boost student confidence and self esteem. The staff also loved the sessions, they were a bit envious of the students to be honest and would loved to have had a go! The way Pete delivered the sessions was just right for our students, he slightly adapted each session to match the needs of the group."
