Workshop
A virtual live lesson on 24 June for students aged 7 to 11 highlighting how technology in space can help us to communicate and navigate on Earth.
Have your students ever wondered how technology in space helps us to communicate and navigate here on Earth? Could they see themselves working in a future career using space technology?
Join Tech She Can on Tuesday 24 June at 1.30pm, when their Curriculum and Resources Lead, Poppy Patel, will deliver a free virtual 50 minute Tech We Can LIVE lesson for students aged 7 to 11 years old.
Poppy will highlight how technology in space can help us to communicate and navigate on Earth, including how GPS helps us in our everyday lives. She will also show some of the tech careers within communication and navigation that students could pursue in the future.
This will be an interactive session where the students will be guided to complete paper based tasks and partner discussions - they therefore need to be based at a table with a piece of paper and pen or pencil.
The content is ideal in the classroom environment, hall or from home.
