FIRST® LEGO® League Discover

An introductory STEM programme that develops key learning habits through play.

FIRST® LEGO® League Discover

Students aged between 4 and 6 work in teams to explore a real-world theme, identify a problem, and create an innovative solution.

They design and build a team model to demonstrate their ideas.

They'll develop key habits of learning, such as teamwork, persistence and problem solving, through playful learning experiences to better equip them to access STEM education and careers later on.

Teachers deliver the programme content during curriculum time to a class of students working in groups of 4. It is mapped to both the EYFS and primary national curriculum.

There are explicit links to various engineering careers throughout the experience which students learn about.

Cost

£45 to £145 depending on registration pack selected. All prices exclude VAT.

The IET have FIRST® LEGO® League funding packages available for disadvantaged schools/teams to apply for throughout the season. Funding covers the cost of registration as well as the associated LEGO Education kit.
