High-energy interactive event for students to learn about the world of chemical and process engineering from employers.

DiscoverChemEngLive

An interactive exhibition featuring companies and organisations from a range of chemical engineering industries such as Welsh Water, Zulu Join Integrity, InSite Technical, Dow Silicones and AtkinsRealis.

As well as hands-on activities and opportunities to speak with working chemical and process engineers there will be a Hydrogen-powered car on display and visits to the university pilot plant.

DiscoverChemEngLIVE is free and is open to school groups within easy reach of the venue. For 12 to 18-year-old school students (y8-y13). Group size of up to 30 young people, plus teaching and/or support staff from your school or college.

Choose from one of two sessions on 11 March 2026:

Morning 10:00‒12:00 GMT 
Afternoon 12:45–14:30 GMT
