Ever wondered about the science behind your favourite theme park rides?

Find out why rollercoaster cars don't need an engine, what calculations engineers need to do to get the car to the top of the ride and why understanding moments is important when you're building a pendulum ride.

Where's the engineering in that? involves engaging videos and follow-up PowerPoints aimed at students aged 11 to 14.

Duration

4 x 1-hour sessions each with a video and presentation.
