We have added more exclusive virtual work experience opportunities on the Experience portal that will help your students gain a sense of how companies work, the skills they require and how to develop a plan of action for their careers.

Uncover what a career with employers really looks like through our immersive work experience programme.

Please encourage your students to apply as soon as possible to have the best chance of success.

Dates and location

Speakers for Schools runs multiple placements with different participant numbers ranging from 30 to 100 students for employers throughout the academic year at locations all over the UK. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all placements are virtual in 2021.


Over 2 to 5 days: 1 Insight Day or 5 Work Experience Placement days.

  • Develop engineering employability skills

  • Improve awareness and aspirations for STEM-related study and careers
