Trip

Silverstone Interactive Museum

An educational visit to Silverstone Interactive Museum with a STEM or careers workshop.

Silverstone Interactive Museum

The Silverstone Interactive Museum offers a brilliant opportunity to deliver an exciting, engaging and inspiring trip to your pupils.

School groups can explore the 4000m2 exhibition, that will take them on an exciting journey through the past, present and future of Silverstone and British motorsport. Learn about the engineering and technology that has changed the world of motorsport in our Technology Lab before exploring part of the retired circuit and see what’s racing around the track that day.

Young people can take part in one of our STEM or careers workshops to suit all ages and abilities that link to key stages in the national curriculum and support learning outside the classroom.

Capacity

Minimum of 10 participants, maximum of 30 participants.

Cost

Options for school groups:

1. Exhibition only – a self-led visit through the exhibition (approximately 2 to 2.5 hours) @ £7.95 per pupil

2. Exhibition + STEM Workshop – a curriculum-related workshop led by one of our facilitators in our dedicated Learning Studio (approx. 4 hours) @ £9.50 per pupil

Dates and Location

Currently, this is onsite at the museum but we hope to outreach in the future.
