  • Why Do We Need Engineers? Students explore the importance of engineering from creating sustainable energy to coming up with new ways of making ventilators
  • Understand Stores of Energy - an introduction to stores of energy and how energy is transferred with a guided research activity
  • Find Your Future - students explore possible futures linked to engineering that meet their own needs and personal characteristics
  • Get Experimental - design, complete and assess your own experiment

Duration

The session can be delivered in approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. It includes a range of inspirational videos, worksheets for students to complete offline, ideas for energy-focused practical activities and a careers themed quiz.
