Sphero Engineering Build and Race

In this workshop students have to design and build a chariot to attach to the Sphero to carry a Lego figure around our race track. Older students are given a budget to 'buy' materials. Maths skills, problem-solving, resilience and teamwork are all developed in this action-packed session.

We use our workshops to develop a desire to learn about STEM and how it is used in everyday life. These workshops offer an engaging link to engineering, the curriculum, and Gatsby Benchmarks while highlighting future career possibilities.

Minimum of 10 participants, maximum of 32 participants.

Dates and Location

We do not charge travel costs on top of our workshops if the location is within one hour of our office. Over 1 hour we will charge mileage, over 2 hours we may need to add accommodation costs on top but we can offer a full quote before purchase.

Duration

This is a half-day workshop that can fit into a morning or afternoon session of school within normal school timings.
