Practical STEM workshops covering a wide range of topics, designed to support the delivery of the World Around Us area of learning.
These hands-on workshops can be used to stimulate interest in science and technology within the context of the Northern Ireland curriculum, enhance learning, and motivate children.
Sessions can also be used as a stimulus for STEM project work, opening up many possibilities of participation in other programmes.
They highlight the value of STEM subjects and the relevance of classroom learning.
Minimum of 15 participants, maximum of 60 participants.
Activities are free to schools in Northern Ireland. For schools in other areas typical cost is £150 to £250, depending on duration, numbers involved and cost of materials.
Workshops can be tailored to suit the needs of each class, typically it is a half-day or full-day programme, working with a range of classes.
