I'm an Engineer! Metre Zone

An easy, interactive way to engage your students with STEM.

I'm an Engineer! Metre Zone

Show your students what engineering is, and who it's for.

I’m an Engineer, Get me out of here is a flexible, student-led online activity that connects school students with working engineers.

Students can Chat with engineers in real-time; Ask them questions, and Vote for their favourite engineer to win £500!

Take part from home or at school - all your students need is a computer or tablet with an internet connection to take part.

This activity is free for UK state-maintained schools.

The Metre Zone lasts 4 weeks, and you can log in as often or as little as you like to ask questions and vote for your favourite engineer during that time.
Book a live Chat at a time to suit you. Live Chats last 40 minutes. You can book as many live Chats as you like for your classes.
