Workshop
Learn how to program a robot to complete a series of increasingly difficult challenges.
This in-school workshop runs for a complete day, and involves students working in teams of 3 to build a robotic vehicle using LEGO Mindstorms. Students then program their robots to complete a series of increasingly difficult challenges. Each challenge builds on the previous one, and progressively introduces the use of sensors to provide feedback control to the robot.
Throughout the day students will learn about where computers are used, and begin to see how essential computer control has become to our lives. They will also enhance their teamwork, communication skills, and resilience during this very popular workshop.
